QUALIFICATION
The renter must be a minimum of 23 years old for car groups A – AA1 and up to 25 years old for all other groups of cars.
DRIVER’S LICENSE
A valid driver’s license held for a least one year is required. We accept original driver’s licenses from COUNTRY OF ORIGIN for EU member countries. For all others, an international driver’s license is required, due to the recent change in Greek legislation regarding this matter.
EXTRA DRIVER
One extra driver is free of charge. For the 3rd driver a charge of 3 euro per day.
MINIMUM RENTAL
In Jonas Travel car Rental in Corfu, the minimum rental period can’t be less than one day (24 hours).The rental starts from the pick-up time. In case of a delay collection without inform the company hourly charges may apply (1/5 of the daily rate)
DEPOSIT
No deposit required, there is no need for the renter to give a credit card for a security deposit.
TAXES
Taxes are included in the final total price (VAT 24%).
PAYMENTS
The renter can pay in cash or credit card on arrival or online by credit card.
DELIVERY and COLLECTION
FREE delivery and collection to the airport from 8:00 a.m. to 22:00 p.m. In case of a later delivery, the renter will be charged 15 euros for the representative.
CONFIRM RESERVATIONS
All reservations will be confirmed or not by email from a representative of our company after the reservation has been sent.
AVAILABILITY
The renter can not choose a specific car type from the car group. The car that will be given to the renter will be one of the cars that are included in the car group of his choice. In case of no availability from this car group, another car will be supplied of the same value or more.
INSURANCES
Basic Insurance Covers:
- all damages to third parties (Third Party Insurance)
- all damages EXCEPT FOR damages caused to tires, glass, mirrors, accessories & undercarriage of the vehicle.
Full Insurance Covers:
- all damages to third parties (Third Party Insurance)
- all damages EXCEPT FOR damages caused to tires, glass, mirrors, accessories & undercarriage of the vehicle.
- Zero Excess
- With extra charge
*Basic and full Insurances is not valid when driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding or in any traffic violation.
TRAFFIC FINES
All traffic fines resulting from the violation of the Greek traffic law during the rental period are at the renter’s expense. Failure to report or pay for the fines results in details sent to the authorities to send on the fine with penalties.
FUEL
Our policy for Fuel is not business, How the renter picks up the car this how must be at the collection, during the rental period the fuel is paid by the renter. NO refunds are given.
PETS
No pets allowed in the car *(except trained service animals to aid a person with a disability)
CREDIT CARD TRANSACTIONS
Credit card transactions are made in Euro. Please note that we are not able to make any transaction on the renter’s card in any other currency. The currency equivalent shown on the site is according to Greek Bank’s exchange rates and is updated monthly. Fluctuations may occur with cardholders bank charges. CANCELLATION: If payment has been made by credit card, up to 72 hours before arrival, then 100% return. From 48 hours onwards, one full day is charged. When clicking “pay by credit card”, the transaction goes through only when we have confirmed that a car is available for your hire.
